Oko is a new development and data-management tool for creating Windows-based applications.

It uses an object-oriented language similar to C++. A set of versatile visual-design tools makes it possible to create applications practically without programming. The environment includes data controls, as well as query and report facilities. A full set of documentation is to be available shortly.

Originally, Oko was conceived as a simple tool for database applications. As time went by, however, it became evident that one should go further and put together a more complete development framework to sustain our own programming needs. As a result, Oko has mostly been written in Oko itself.
